keeping it real

This is the note E wrote to her father Tuesday night after being punished for failing to write her  name on a math test for the third time.  No name = no credit at school = no after supper treat for the third offense at our house.  A great injustice.  Imagine a six year old so angry that she misspells her name.

She did not have the nerve to deliver this note.  I found it wadded up in a bathroom trash can.  How hilarious is "I hate you" signed with "Love"?

happy Thanksgiving

Elizabeth is thankful for dogs, cats, friends, toys, God and RLA (her school).

Her father and I are thankful that her corrected right eye is now as strong as her left eye.  Hooray for a good report at the eye doctor yesterday.  Stay tuned for a recap of our girls trip.

Wow!

This girl can swallow a pill.  Yippee.  Here's to an easy last dose of Tamiflu.

We have a tip.  Don't worry about where the pill is placed on your tongue.  Instead, concentrate on getting as much water into your mouth as possible.  Then, swallow and celebrate.  That means doing a cheer, taking a photo and creating this post in our life.
